    Shloka Ettna is a writer and self-taught illustrator who makes art to confront and reconcile with the world. Her work depicts resistance to global injustices while stimulating imaginations to visualize another world. 

She's interested in creating artwork that's accessible, conducive to healing and part of the struggle for universal liberation.


  She is the recipient of a 2015 Tucson Pima Arts Council Professional Development Grant, 2014 and 2012 Tucson Pima Arts Council New Works Grants, a 2011 Arizona Commission on the Arts Project Grant and their Distinguished Merit Award. 


   She was born (during the monsoon summer of 1985) and raised in Mumbai, India and lives in the United States.
